Community Health
Community health Department trains middle level health manpower to improve the health and well-being of the entire community. Student in this program are exposed to theoretical training; supervised community based experience as well as supervised clinical based experience.
National Diploma
The entry requirement into national diploma in community health is four credit level passes SSCE/WASCE/GCE ‘O’ level at not more than two sittings. These must include Biology/Health science, one subject chosen from Chemistry, Food and Nutrition, Physics and Geography.
Two subject chosen from any of Economics, Account, Commerce, Agricultural Science and Social Science, passes in English Language and Mathematics are compulsory, Pre – ND Science and Technology Certificate recognized by NBTE, National Technical Certificate (NTC) with credit passes in the four relevant subject and passes in English Language and Mathematics, Teacher Grade II certificate with credit/merit passes in the relevant subject.
